What is the NTA 2025?
The Nigeria Tax Act 2025 is the most comprehensive tax reform in Nigeria's history, signed into law on 26 June 2025 by President Bola Tinubu. It consolidates over 60 different tax statutes into fewer than 10 laws.
The reform was designed to simplify compliance, reduce the burden on low-income earners and small businesses, and broaden the tax base.
